Location
Jenner Headlands Preserve in Duncans Mills, CA.
We will enter on the Duncans Mills side of the park through a private, locked entrance. Please meet just north of the Duncan Mills General Store along the line of Monterey Cypress trees. Please carpool. We will drive into the forest and high clearance four-wheel drive is needed. Note: We will not meet at the Jenner Headlands Preserve parking lot on CA-1 in Jenner.
Description
About the site: 100 acres of Shaded fuel break and 50 acres of prescribed burn
About the project: Shaded fuel break project began in 2013. In 2018, they began maintaining the break with prescribed fire.
