For the third year in a row, we will hear the Fire Season Outlook from Chief Marshall Turbeville.
This rich presentation is not to be missed. Marshall provides an in-depth forecast for the north Bay Area 2023 fire season, including rainfall predictions, fuel moisture, fuel loading, and climatic factors that affect fire behavior. Looking ahead: In July, we will receive a presentation from Ryan Klausch, Environmental Scientist of the Wildfire and Forest Resilience Program for the Sonoma-Mendocino Coast District, California State Parks. He will give an overview of State Parks projects in Sonoma County. Please mark your calendar for July 20, 2023.
