LandSmart Grazing for Community Resilience Workshop

ABOUT

The LandSmart Grazing Program is designed to support interested neighbors or community groups to utilize grazing as a way of reducing fuel load and making their communities safer in the face of wildfires. The event is designed to support community members in efforts to reduce fuel to make their properties and communities safer in the face of wildfires. We will discuss livestock grazing as a vegetation management tool, the advantages of collaborating with your neighbors on a project, we will learn about local fire resiliency efforts, and we will share other resources available to the public. We will have a panel of speakers that include fire and RCD representatives, livestock and prescribed grazing professionals and representatives from the local fire safe groups.
