Description
At this meeting, we’ll discuss outreach activities including upcoming field tours and the agriculture-forest stewardship mixer event to be scheduled in Summer 2022.
Special presentation this month is “Sonoma County Fire Management Tools in Development,” Sashi Sabaratnam, UC Cooperative Extension. Shashi will be sharing with us an update about the Wildfire Fuel Mapper tool. If you recall, last May, Tosha Comendant from Pepperwood gave us an introduction to the tool. We’ll also hear about Sashi’s experience working with the Marin Wildfire Authority, her role at UCCE, and her work developing a Vegetation Management Handbook.
